Our Story

Our Smart Buildings are a customized system of building controls on an interoperable network, integrating HVAC, security, elevators, lighting and more. We increase your productivity, help you effectively manage your building and reduce your energy costs over the lifetime of your building.

Our roots run deep in the scientific community. One of our founders, Dr. Gary Latham, was a founding member of NASA; and two others, Dr. Ross Williams and Mr. Edward O'Neil, were both involved with the Manhattan Project. This focus on sound science and engineering still drives the development of our powerful products and services.

The Heat Computer is the foundation of our vision for complete building control. We put the power back in your hands to run your building efficiently and save you oil costs over the lifetime of your building. Our mission and our passion led to a partnership with VerizonWireless to design and implement customized solutions for building controls, OAS Smart Buildings. With the leadership of OAS President Edward Winiarski, we are expanding to a national and international marketplace, where the need to reduce oil consumption and increase efficiency is essential.

Biographies

Edward A. Winiarski, President

Edward A. Winiarski is an industrial engineer and entrepreneur. As Industrial Engineer, has over twenty years experience in manufacturing management, specializing in the electronics industry. Ed formed a small contract manufacturing business in 1988. It evolved into a successful multi-million dollar enterprise with both government agencies and commercial firms among his valued clientele.

During 1999, Ed purchased a second corporate entity as the Managing Partner. He reversed the negative sales trend, diversified its product line, and established a corporate identity with brand name for a national market. "Our philosophy is growth, challenge and fun to make a national product company. Integration of our technologies improving operations and our continuing customer satisfaction, would not be achieved without the intelligent and dedicated team at OAS."
